What are the signs that my organization could use a process improvement consultant?
Tasks or process are taking too long to complete.
Non-standardized work, too many ways of completing a task or process.
Employee or team frustration on completing a task or process, lack of alignment on roles or end goal.
With my past experience, I can put to use my skills and what I enjoy doing to help companies become more efficient and effective. As a consultant, I can bring new ideas and perspectives to a company's current process and practices.
If you could tell us one thing about process improvement and project management what would it be?
Process improvement can increase efficiency and employee satisfaction, while saving time and money.
Project Management can align a team on an overall goal, setting expectations with the team committing to project deliverables and timelines.
We hear history may have played a part in how you came to enjoy Project Management and Process improvement.
I’m the youngest of 6 kids and a twin. Maybe growing up in a big family with the craziness that comes with it has lead me to the path of Project Management and Process improvement, where I like things to be organized and structured.
Word on the street is that you'd give up your phone for a month before you gave up dessert!
It's true! I would rather go 30 days without my phone than go my entire life without dessert. I have to admit, I do like desserts and wouldn’t give them up. I like simple desserts, a good cookie or ice cream are my favorite treats.
